“I joined the Men’s Club in 2020 while still working and only used my membership to maintain a GHIN. Upon retiring in 2022 I began playing every Wednesday and participated in every tournament. I’ve met a multitude of players and now consider some best friends. In 2023, I became a board member as ‘Handicap/New Member’ chair and began to learn so much about the game, tournaments, leagues, and SCGA, while having the pleasure of meeting golfers throughout San Diego County. I highly recommend members to become involved in the club, whether as a volunteer or board member; it’s a learning experience and very fulfilling. The Golden, Senior and Military Leagues are priceless opportunities to play different courses and meet great folks. The Men’s Club is for all golfers/handicaps, and good if you play weekly or just a few times a year. Active-Duty military get a 45% discount on membership!”
